We have arrived!
Shalom Fellow Solelniks!
We have arrived! After many months of anticipation, I am very excited to be here at Solel! I would love to connect with you and I am looking forward to getting to know each and every one of you and find out more about who you are – the wonderful members who make Solel what we are.
My primary goals this summer are to meet you and begin building relationships with you, learning even more about what makes Solel such a warm spiritual home, and learning what your hopes and aspirations are for the future of Solel. I am looking forward to meeting each of you, and getting to know you as my family and I make Solel our new home.
This Friday, July 3rd at 8pm will be my first Shabbat service as your new rabbi. I look forward to seeing you this Friday or at upcoming Friday evening services in July and at both Friday evenings and Shabbat mornings in August.
There are many ways for us to connect. Please come by Solel and say hello. During the month of July I will have open office hours between 10am-12noon on Monday and Thursday, and 2:30-4pm on Tuesdays. I will also be at Solel at other times working and unpacking books and files if you want to stop in. You can also call to set up an appointment and I would be happy to meet for coffee, lunch, or a walk on a nice day.
Thank you to those of you who have already warmly welcomed me and my family. I hope you will join me in some of the welcome events happening this summer. Be on the lookout for opportunities for small gatherings for us to get together and meet in the coming weeks.
I feel very blessed to be part of this wonderful community and I am looking forward to working together to build the future of Solel.
I am honoured to be your new rabbi. I look forward to sharing our journey together.
